Intense and deep purplish red color. The nose is striking with hints of dark red fruit, including violets and raspberries. On the palate, balance is king: the tannins and acidity are perfectly integrated together with the recurring richness and silkiness of this vintage. The finish is fresh and persistent.

Winter 2020 was characterized by mild temperatures and below-average rainfall. A return of cold at the end of March slowed down the vegetative growth but budding was then in line with previous years. Spring continued regularly with mild weather. Flowering and fruit set occurred in optimal conditions. Excellent rainfall was recorded in June. The summer was hot and sunny, without excessive temperatures. All this led to a slow and constant ripening of the grapes.

Manual selection of bunches before destemming and selection of berries with optical selector. Spontaneous fermentation follows without the use of added yeasts and maceration aided by frequent punching down. Everything takes place in truncated cone-shaped steel vats at a controlled temperature for 18 days.
