Description

Culture: Located in the heart of the illustrious cognac terroir, Domaine Elisabeth is an ancient family estate whose tradition has not stopped since 1767.
Aware of the environment and respectful of the future of their children, in 1997 the Arrivé family undertaken the management of organically grown vineyards: work in the vineyard without any chemical products, natural winemaking (according to specifications whose application is regularly verified by ECOCERT).
Covering an area of ​​35 hectares, the vineyard is cultivated with Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Ugni Blanc, Colombard for the white grapes and Merlot and Egiodola for the red grapes.

In the cellar: maceration in oak barrels for a minimum of 18 months of red grape juice with the addition of cognac aged for at least 2 years.

Characteristics: mahogany in color with brown reflections. The nose is light and elegant, characterized by very fruity notes of raspberry and cherry and spicy aromas (cinnamon and vanilla). The taste has a soft attack with generous and powerful notes of red fruits, with excellent persistence.

Pairings: to be enjoyed cold between 6° and 8°C as an aperitif or on a fruit tart such as strawberries and raspberries or chocolate.
