Description
2017 was the year of dangers… An
exceptionally warm and dry winter and spring marked by
intense frosts from 17 to 29 April which set the
sad record of 12 nights of frost.
Then a gloomy, humid and not particularly hot summer, which ended
with an almost tropical end of August (humid and hot),
favoring a notable development of gray mold on
the fully ripening Pinot Noir and Meunier vines.
In the end, the harvest was accelerated, very rapid,
combined with demanding, precise and methodical selection work
, unprecedented for our Maison.
The harvest took place from 31 August to 9 September 2017.
