Description

Cultivation: On an extension of 7.32 hectares of vineyards, all located in the village of Oger, grapes are produced to elaborate only Grand Cru Champagne: 100% Oger mono-cru, 100% mono-varietal, Chardonnay.
Here chalk dominates the terroir and is one of the main factors in optimizing and expressing the quality of Chardonnay at the highest levels. Close to HVE (Haute valeur environnementale) certification by the end of 2022, the harvests are strictly manual, and the grapes are pressed using a traditional oak Cocquard press. Most of the cuvées are disgorged with the traditional “à la Volée” system.

In the cellar: manual harvest of the 2016 vintage with grapes from vineyards with an average age of over 50 years; vinification and aging in stainless steel, malolactic conversion completely carried out and left on the yeasts for at least 60 months.

Characteristics: straw yellow in color and with an elegant and delicate effervescence, the nose releases hints of almonds and candied white fruits with a light touch of brioché. On the palate it has character, is persistent, complex with aromas of dried fruit and honey. A powerful vintage blanc de blanc to be enjoyed among true enthusiasts.

Pairings: ideal with preparations based on seafood.
