TECHNICAL NOTES

Soil: with sandy clay and rounded pebbles

Training system: spurred cordon – Banfi sapling. Planting density: 4200 cp/ha.

Yield per hectare: 60 q/ha.

VARIETY

Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese, Syrah

PRODUCTION METHOD

Fermentation: at a controlled temperature (25-30°) in combined steel and Horizon French oak vats

Aging: in 350 liter French oak barriques. for approx. 18 months

THE WINEMAKER'S COMMENT

Wine characterized by varietal aromas; the intense fruity scents are accompanied by notes of jam, spices, pipe tobacco and coffee. Imposing structure, with important but sweet tannins.

A long-aging wine perfect in combination with meat or vegetable dishes.
