“Bas Armagnac Réserve”
Expression of great balance and finesse.
Soil: reddish and silty sands. Grape variety: Folle Blanche, Baco A22.
In the distillery: after a light decantation of the musts, the distillation proceeds between the end of November and December. Distillation with the traditional “alambic continu armagnaçais” with plates mounted on a trailer and fueled by wood. The spirit obtained is colorless and will have an alcohol content between 54% and 56% which will be lost during maturation in the barrels.
Aging: in 400 liter Gers oak barrels for approximately 5 years.
